Festive markets …

This year, we are hosting two Christmas markets in our town centres of Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

The Great Grimsby Christmas Market will be held over two days on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November in the town centre (due to the weather, this will now be held in a unit at the Riverhead entrance to Freshney Place), and alongside some unique traders, there’ll be fun and entertainment and special appearances. There will be free parking in two North East Lincolnshire Council car parks for the weekend too – Cartergate car park and Grimsby Town Hall car park. Grimsby’s Christmas Market weekend is a great opportunity for you to come along and see the Museum of the Moon installation, visit the Christmas Market and local town centre businesses for some special Christmas presents and enjoy some food and drink to get into the Christmas spirit!

Over in Cleethorpes, the Holly Jolly Cleethorpes Christmas Market takes place on Saturday 4 December in the Market Place Cleethorpes. Traders from the key retail areas are working together to bring a day of fun and festivities including brass bands, choirs, fantastic street performers and an appearance of the big man himself!  As it is also Small Business Saturday on 4 December, a number of council operated car parks will be free to park, including various car parks in Cleethorpes. Check out which ones at www.investnel.co.uk/sbs.

These fantastic markets have been funded through ERDF/Welcome Back Fund.
