About

North East Lincolnshire is located on the east coast of England. On the edge of rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), we’re a fantastic place to stay for exploring the area and beyond. You can be from coast to countryside within minutes!

We’re easily accessible by road and rail and have a local airport and sea port.

Home to the pretty coastal resort of Cleethorpes, we have been welcoming visitors since the 1800s with our beautiful beaches, exciting events and family attractions. With a good range of places to stay, from holiday parks, caravans and camping to boutique bed and breakfast accommodation and hotels,

We’re also home to the sea faring town of Great Grimsby. With a rich heritage, visitors can take a trip tot the Fishing Heritage Centre and also climb aboard a real fishing trawler. The town is currently undergoing a number of renovation works including a new market hall and entertainment complex.

The port town of Immingham has links with the Pilgrims, who journeyed on the Mayflower ship in 1620 to form one of the first English colonies in America. The museum and heritage trail tells the story of the Pilgrims and how the area became the last departure point for them as they fled to Holland, some twelve years prior to the momentous voyage on the Mayflower.
