Based on the 2015 bestselling thriller novel by Paula Hawkins comes a stage adaptation by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel: Rachel Watson longs for a different life. Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day, happy and in love. Or so it appears. When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated.
Based on the 2015 bestselling thriller novel by Paula Hawkins, stage adaptation by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel, The Girl on the Train was first performed at West Yorkshire Playhouse on 12 May 2018. The production featured Jill Halfpenny as Rachel Watson. The play was then presented at Milton Keynes Theatre on 23 January 2019 and featured Samantha Womack as Rachel.
