Blink, a love story by Phil Porter
Blink is the tale of Jonah, Sophie and a fox called Scruffilitis. It’s a love story. A dysfunctional, voyeuristic and darkly funny love story, but a love story all the same. Jonah is a naïve, awkward young man who is experiencing the outside world for the first time since his mother died. The recent years in Sophie’s life have been taken up looking after her father, but when he dies, she has to learn how to live her own life again. But she struggles. When Jonah receives a video baby monitor through the post, their lives become intertwined – but does each character know how much their lives will change due to this baby monitor?
Performances on Thursday 30 March, Friday 31 March and Saturday 1 April.
Blink had its world premiere in 2 August 2012 at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh.
